Installation Instructions

Follow these straightforward steps to achieve a secure, long-lasting installation and get the most out of your Pier Protector.

  • STEP 1

    Determine how long to pre-cut your wraps by measuring the pile diameter, multiplying by pi (3.14), and add 6 inches for overlapping.

  • STEP 2

    Remove any attached organisms and clean surface. Not necessary on new construction.

  • STEP 3

    Wrap with black stretch wrap. Multiple wraps are done top to bottom. A minimum of 3 layers is recommended.

  • STEP 4

    Attach one side of the material with 3-4 nails evenly spaced.

  • STEP 5

    Wrap the material around the pile and pull tight.

  • STEP 6

    While keeping the material tight against the pile, place nails every 3-6 inches along the seam.
